Multi Session Class

This beginning quilting class will take you from your first cut to your last stitch while you enjoy the process each step of the way. You will learn everything about making a quilt including choosing the best quilting tools, and fabrics, rotary cutting with accuracy, block assembly, and attaching borders. You will finish this 5 week course with a complete quilt top- made by you! Basic sewing knowledge is required and there is sewing homework between classes. One of the great things in quilt making is being able to personalize your creations. What is more personal than creating a quilt with the clothes you or a loved one wore. But there are tricks and steps you need to do in order to create something that can truly become an heirloom. In this class you will learn how to prepare a t-shirt for quilting as well as the Magic Number method of T-shirt quilt design.
