Quilt your own quilts on our top of the line APQS Long Arm Quilting Machines! In this class you’ll quilt your own quilt as you learn how to load a quilting machine, set tension and use pantograph patterns. After taking this class you are qualified to rent our machines by the hour. As always, thread, patterns and a Quilt Fairy are with you at all times for all rentals.
Two Day Sew: Scrappy Corners $135
Nov 17-18, 10am- 4pm
How does this sound? Bring your sewing machine, your favorite quilting tools, and maybe a friend or two and get together with the Quilt Fairies to sew a fun, scrappy quilt project! Sounds like all kind of awesome, right? We’ll have everything precut for your two day sewing retreat in our classroom. The project is Scrappy Corners by Quilty Love and we’ll have all the fabrics ready for you to choose from. Choose your size of throw either 48″ x 60″ or 60″ x 72″, then choose your pre-cut scrappy squares and even choose your own background. We’ll provide lunch and snacks on both days so all you have to worry about is your 1/4″ seam. The price for these two days is $135 which includes all your fabric for the quilt (no backing) and lots of yummy food. There is a $25 upcharge if you choose the larger quilt size. Come join the Quilt Fairies for a relaxed two days of sewing.

Easy Triangle Machine Quilting $89

Holiday Sew & Sew $39

The Finishing Touch: Easy Facing $33

Facing a Quilt is a method of finishing the edge of a quilt. A strip of facing fabric is sewn to the front of a quilt and turned to the back so that none of the facing fabric shows on the front. A Facing provides an alternative to traditional binding. We will also talk about how to integrate labels with this method.

Two Day Quick Start- Longarm $389

You’ve taken the longarm beginner’s class and are looking for the next step while a Quilt Fairy watches over you. In this class you’ll go through the “tension gauntlet” where you’ll learn how to work with different threads. You’ll learn a few tricks along the way as you finish a top with an all over edge to edge design as you share a longarm with a friend. Day two features light custom where you’ll learn different ways to quilt a block to bring it to life. We’ll finish the day with some basic rulerwork to round out your skills so you are ready for basic custom quilting
