Long Arm Quilting: Design Building Blocks and Magic Echoes Class
Ready to make complicated quilting designs feel much more approachable?
In this hands-on longarm quilting class, Angela will guide you through the 7 basic design elements that make up nearly 90% of quilting motifs. Once you understand these simple building blocks, you can shift your focus and begin stitching designs that look detailed, polished, and beautifully complex.
We’ll practice on a panel quilt, giving you plenty of spaces to play, explore, and build confidence at the longarm. You’ll also learn how to use the “magic echo” as a traveling path, so you can move through your design without getting trapped or cornered.
This class includes hands-on stitching time along with some drawing and design planning. It is taught in two parts, and you may take the parts in any order.
