Susan's Wonderful Fall Colors Quilt
Susan appears to love fall colors, judging from this quilt! The fabrics look like they're from a designer named Sandy Gervais who designs gorgeous collections for Moda. She almost always includes teal in her collections.
The piecing in this top is very simple, and the quilting needed to be simple, too. Susan opted for an allover meander for this top so it would be comfy and soft. This also let the fun fabrics be the focal point of the quilt. I selected a taupe thread for the quilting because it blended best across the many different colors and shades of colors in the top.
Choosing the backing for this quilt was also relatively easy. We carry a tan 108" wide backing from the Kansas Troubles line, also by Moda, that fit the bill perfectly.
Thank you, Susan, for bringing this reminder of the beauty of fall to me for quilting!
