Quilting traditions from the past can be a wonderful source of inspiration for the quilts we’re making today. At our next Longarm Guild meeting, Jane Adolf will introduce us to Welsh quilting and explore how machine quilters can bring ideas from this traditional style into their own work.
Jane will share some of the background behind Welsh quilting and give us a closer look at how these quilting ideas can be adapted for today’s machine quilter. Whether you have a quilt top waiting for inspiration or you simply enjoy discovering new approaches to quilting, this will be a great opportunity to look at a traditional style with fresh eyes.
Our Longarm Guild meetings are also a chance to spend the morning with other quilters, exchange ideas, and leave with a little more inspiration for the quilts waiting at home.
