Tahiti Quilt

Are these colors luscious or what?! I love light, cool colors on quilts - if you couldn't tell by my selection for best quilt at MQX this year.
Imogene said the pattern for this quilt is called Tahiti (you can find a similar one with the same name at Among Friends) and I think her floral fabrics were a great choice for that theme! While I've never been to Tahiti, I can easily imagine the beautiful tropical flowers of every color, the clear blue ocean, and the powdery white sand. Hmm, that sounds wonderful. :)
I have a lot of flowery pantographs for my customers to choose from, so Imogene had a tough time choosing just one. She decided on Lime Tree, a very nice leafy design that complements her fabrics without matching them too closely. Look at how nicely the design shows in her backing fabric! It turned out wonderfully and Imogene was so pleased when she picked it up. Hopefully when she's using it this winter, she'll have warm and happy thoughts of a tropical paradise!
