You've probably already read about my adventures at MQX; but something else pretty exciting happened that week too! Bethanne Nemesh, one of the wonderful and super talented quilters I shared a panel with, released her first books at the show. I'm so happy to announce I have two of them available in the shop: Nemeshing and The Devil is in the Details.

Nemeshing

Everyone has their own quilting heroes and Bethanne Nemesh is one of mine. She has a unique approach to feathers that goes really fast and fills spaces with ease. If heirloom feathers are difficult for you but you still want the formal, fancy look, then her technique will be perfect for you. You’ll also love her teaching style in her book. She teaches in easy to understand language with well drawn step by step illustrations. Nemeshing is a fun, flowing, feather fill that can be used to fill your applique, make customized block elements, create flowing borders, or to do edge-to-edge feathering… all without stress and, in most cases, without any marking. Learn how 5 different feather techniques can be combined to create this unique feather look!
