Melissa's Cross Stitch Quilt
Melissa and her mom worked together to put this cross stitch throw together.
She told me they used to make cross stitch works of art like this all the time! She chose a flannel back to it would be as snuggly as possible. The batting is Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 and she wanted me to do a simple overall meander which crosses over her stitching lines. Since I used a super skinny thread it nestles down in the cross stitching and fades into the background. Here's your eye candy.
