Karin's Madeira Heart Baby Quilt
She is a new quilter and took this class over at one of my local quilt shop gems, The Smocking Shop from one of my favorite teachers, Karen Fox. She was working on the piecing while at the sewing retreat I attended back in October at Wooded Glen in Indiana. If you are ever looking for a wonderful retreat site, I can't recommend them highly enough. It was beautiful and the food was YUMMY!
We put a meandering heart quilting pattern using white thread and Hobbs Heirloom batting. She was thrilled with her quilt and I'm sure her granddaughter will love it for years to come.
