Take a look at this lovely Irish Chain quilt I recently finished for one of my customers. Kathleen is one of my many wonderful renters and had hoped to quilt this one herself as a wedding gift, but its size and importance was a little overwhelming for her. It's hard to tell from the picture above, but the quilt touches the floor on the other side of Lenni's table. This quilt will definitely be big enough for the newlywed's bed! Kathleen combed through our selection of wide backs and found a lovely tone on tone called Quilt Back Natural that almost perfectly matched the tone on tone fabric in the top. We found the perfect shamrock edge to edge pantograph for this quilt. It has both four leaf and three leaf clovers and some sweet curls. I love it that the leaves look a little bit like hearts too. They fit the wedding gift theme perfectly! Maybe all of those clovers will bring the newlyweds lots of luck in the years to come. :)
