Holiday Wall Hangings
Just in time for Christmas, here's a look at Barbara's holiday wall hangings. These are such a fun way to brighten up your home for the holidays. They're uniquely yours and there are always so many holiday fabrics to choose from.
Barbara's Thanksgiving wall hanging is so beautiful. This panel features a door decorated for fall with lots of colorful leaves. I used the leaves as my inspiration for the quilting. This is the Falling Leaves pantograph and I used Glide's Dijon thread. I love this color thread so much! Because Glide already has such a nice sheen, many of the gold and silver colors look like a metallic thread with it's great eye catching pop of color. But it's still a 40 weight polyester thread so you aren't getting those annoying thread breaks issues!
Barbara also brought in this adorable "Merry Christmas Deer Friends" panel. The little characters in this quilt are so fun! And take a look at her border with the squares and pinwheel blocks.
I have a few Christmas pantographs for customers to choose from. Barbara's backing fabric had me thinking of ornaments and bells, so I suggested the Jingle Bells pantograph with a light green Omni thread.
Barbara's quilts are really spreading the holiday cheer this year!
