Eve's Sampler Blocks

On Eve's Purple Beauty she had three modified pinwheel block and I wanted to treat each of them individually.
Each of the blocks on her sampler quilt has it's own quilting design. The challenge was to come up with three very different designs for the three identical blocks. BTW- I'm calling them a modified pinwheel but I'm sure there is an official name for them. If you know the names of any of these blocks, leave it in the comments section. Thanks! I used a different filler for the background of each pinwheel. Which one is your favorite treatment? I like the first one up there with the light brown background.
Since Eve's quilt is a sampler I thought I'd include shots of each of the blocks and the quilting treatment I used on them. I didn't plan these out beforehand. I just kinda went with the flow and each time and used quilter's vinyl to lay on top of each section. Then I used a wet mark eraser to doodle on the quilt until I was happy with the design.
I put a cherry blossom in the white background of the fan and added line definition to the blades of the fan. This is such a perfect block to include in an oriental quilt, don't you think?

These next two are almost the same block just with different values. I always love how wonderful a quilt block can look with different fabric choices. I love that!
