Debbie's Apple Orchard Quilt

Debbie has been keeping me busy but out of all the quilts she brought me to get ready for Christmas, this was the most important in my eyes. She bought the top off eBay and asked me to finish it up as a gift for her mother for Christmas.
Debbie shared with me that her mother has apple trees on her property so the apple pantograph was a perfect choice. This is a new edge to edge pattern for my clients and it really quilts up nice. Wouldn't it be a perfect pattern for a teacher's quilt? Be sure to really see how the sashing is pieced. By using wide sashing strips and adding triangles to the ends of the strips, it forms a star that doesn't have points that need to line up or any other headaches. It is effective, isn't it?
