I've said it before, Debbie must have an INCREDIBLE stash! Take a look at this Friendship star quilt she made as a wedding present. All those stars are made from different luscious oriental fabrics. Beautiful! This quilt was made for a couple who got married in the Carribean recently. They are going to love the sophisticated quilt Debbie designed for them. I used line dancing or Terry's Twists in the stars to give them some spin. I put a bamboo motif in the outside border to accent the oriental flavor of the quilt. The colors in some of the photos are dull so you can see the quilting line better. The colors are more true in that wide shot photo up above. I must say that I never thought I'd find a fabric obsession to rival the way I feel about batiks. But these amazing orientals that keep coming out are starting to make me think my own stash is going to have to expand very, very soon! Up next, Sarah's Purse Quilt!
