A Batik Pond awaiting frogs and dragonflies
In my next life I will only buy batiks. Okay, I'll buy brights AND batiks. :) I have a visceral reaction to the aisle sof batiks at my local quilt shop. Some people feel that way about 30's or Civil War Repros but not me. It is batiks that make me swoon.
Isn't this gorgeous? This quilt reminds me of a pond and I expect to see frogs and dragonflies hopping by. That would explain why I recommended to by client that she put the pantograph Cascade in a light green thread.
That particular pantograph pattern adds a nice water texture to the top and is a big pattern so the density is just right.
