Few Spots Left in Snazzy Sashing Hands On Longarm Quilting Class and Beyond Meander Class This Wednesday

This Wednesday we have two classes being offered and there are still some spots left if you’d like to register by clicking the links below.
“Moving Past the Meander” is a design class which runs from 10:30pm to 12:30pm. In this class we are going to challenge ourselves to use the basic meander as a spine for other wandering designs. In this class we will take a look at some of the quilts that have been in recent quilt show across the country and learn some of the design trends in the competitive quilting world. We will break those down into easy peasy pieces while we look at ways to expand our machine quilting choices. This class is for both sit down and stand up quilters and is a good class for those who are tired of using the basic meander on their quilts but are unsure how to make other effective designs. It is only $39. Bring a nice flowy pen and some unlined paper.
Snazzy Sashing Designs: The afternoon class is a hands on longarm class with a maxium of two people per longarm machine. The machines will all be loaded for you when you come in. We’ll work on multiple effective designs for those small sashing spaces. Learn how to take your own cursive writing and expand it into personalized designs that are fun, simple and work well on a number of different kinds of quilts. This class runs from 1:30pm to 4:30pm and is $89.
