This Wednesday is May 1st, so that means it's Quilted Joy Clubhouse day! This Wednesday at 1 pm Eastern we'll have our monthly live Quilted Joy Clubhouse online meeting. During this month's Quilted Joy Clubhouse Meeting I'll be sharing different ways to quilt the Square in a Square Block. First I'll draw my ideas on a worksheet. We'll have the worksheet available for download on Wednesday so you can practice on the same paper too. Then I'll demonstrate how to quilt them on my APQS Freddie. We've got a camera on the machine so you can clearly see what my needle's doing. I'm a little bit of a nosy Nancy, so one of my favorite parts of the meeting is our Lookie-Loo Studio Tour. I video chat with one of our Quilted Joy Clubhouse members and she gives us a tour of her sewing studio. I find it so interesting to see how others organize their space. And I'm always looking for ideas of how to make my own better! This month we're peeking into my friend Pam's sewing room. Pam has rented the APQS longarms in my studio for more than three years now. She's an incredible and generous quilter and I can't wait for you to get to know her too. The portion of the meeting I think I get the most comments about is the "How Would You Quilt That?" portion. Members of the Quilted Joy Clubhouse have shared lots of quilts looking for advice on how to quilt there quilts. I'll pick one quilt (there's just not enough time to show more!) and draw out how I might quilt their quilt. I hope this part of the meeting helps you understand how I break down a quilt into smaller and more manageable pieces to make a quilting plan. We'll wrap up the meeting with Show and Tell, a.k.a.
