Celebrate Teach the World to Sew Day™ at Quilted Joy

Have you always wanted to learn how to sew, but weren’t quite sure where to begin? Teach the World to Sew Day™ is the perfect reason to finally give it a try!

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Quilted Joy is joining sewing shops and makers around the world for the second annual Teach the World to Sew Day™, a special day dedicated to introducing more people to the fun and creativity of sewing.

Take a peek at the fun we had last year, then come make some sewing memories with us this September.

This year, participants will make an adorable sunglasses case while learning the basics of sewing in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting. You’ll get hands-on experience at the sewing machine, plenty of guidance from the Quilt Fairies, and a finished project to take home with you.

But the best part isn’t just what you’ll make. Sewing is a chance to build confidence, try something creative, and discover a hobby that can grow with you for years to come.

Space is very limited, so we recommend reserving your spot early.
