Jennie's Layer Cake
It's not unusual for a customer to bring in a quilt top and say, "I've been working on this for years!" or "This has been sitting in my closet forever!" Jennie's quilt is one of those. She began piecing this quilt for her daughter three years ago. Sometimes life just gets in the way!
Jennie wanted to keep the quilt fairly simple, and chose the Budget Value Meander for her quilting. She also asked me to bind it for her, because she was surprising her daughter with the finished quilt on her birthday! When Jennie picked up the quilt she was so pleased to see this UFO (UnFinished Object) finally ready. It's been a long wait for her daughter, and I know she will be ecstatic too!
