Feature Article in Machine Quilting Unlimited
What quilting magazines do you subscribe to? My favorite one is Machine Quilting Unlimited. It focuses primarily on quilting and not piecing. Both longarm quilting and sit down domestic quilting are covered.
In the January/February edition of the magazine you’ll find a feature article written by me! It is all about a challenging quilt I finished recently.
The quilt is a modern original design by my friend Sandy. Go check out her blog– she’s a fantastic quilter.
This quilt was difficult in many ways. I felt so overwhelmed every time I looked at it and tried to think how I’d quilt it. The article goes into detail about how I finally tackled it. I’m pleased with the final outcome. Unfortunately we just found out that it wasn’t accepted to show in the Modern QuiltConn show this February. I really thought it had a chance to get in but I guess the judges were looking for something else.
You can find Machine Quilting Unlimited at Barnes and Nobles and JoAnns. Grab a copy and then get a subscription. It is a terrific magazine.
