Take a look at Anita’s super cute quilt!
This looks a lot like Missouri Star Quilt Co.’s Sunny Skies quilt, but Anita mixed it up a little.
Instead of squares in the background arranged like a checkerboard, she made big squares in a square on point expanding out to the border. Doesn’t it create a really interesting effect? It’s like the 16-patches and 4-patches are floating over a series of larger concentric squares!
When she dropped off her quilt she still needed a backing fabric. She has lots of cute floral fabrics in the quilt, and we thought the 108″ wide Tone on Tone Flower – Grey on White was the perfect fit!
Anita prefers simple quilting, so I just quilted a wide open meander. I like how it lets you focus on her patchwork and the beautiful pinks and greys!
