Moving Past the Meander, taught by Angela Huffman

Now that things are settling down – if only for a brief moment – I’m hoping I can see my longarm friends Wednesday morning.  We will have the November meeting of the Ohio Valley Longarm Guild on Wednesday, November 12 at 10am at the APQS Store in Louisville.

Earlier this week I returned from the International Quilt Festival in Houston.  There were so many beautiful quilts on display, and I noticed some new trends popping up this year, like line fillers, pearl accents, and specialty battings.  At the meeting, I’ll discuss some of these trends and ways to incorporate them into your own quilting.  And don’t forget to bring the quilt tops you’ve been working on or recently finished for the design roundtable and show and tell!

I hope to see you there!
