A serger that threads itself at the push of a button
Threading a serger is the reason most sergers sit under a cover. The Acclaim removes that step entirely. Press one button and a gust of air carries thread through the loopers. Press another and the needles are threaded. There are no tension dials to balance either, because Automatic Thread Delivery sets tension for the stitch you have chosen and holds it across whatever fabric you feed it.

RevolutionAir™ threading, loopers and needles both
Drop your thread into a threading port, press the button, and air carries it through the tubular loopers and out exactly where it belongs. A second button threads the needles. Most air threading sergers stop at the loopers and leave the needles to you and a pair of tweezers. The Acclaim does both, which is what turns a color change from a chore into something you will actually bother doing mid project.
No tension dials to balance
Automatic Thread Delivery measures out the thread each stitch needs, so there are no tension dials on this machine at all. Choose your stitch and sew. A four thread overlock on quilting cotton and a rolled hem on a slippery rayon both come out balanced without you stopping to test on a scrap and adjust. This is the feature that makes a serger feel dependable rather than temperamental.
Four, three or two threads, plus the Wave Stitch
Switch between 4, 3 and 2 thread serging for seams, edge finishing and rolled hems, with stitch width up to 7.5mm and length up to 4mm. The Acclaim also carries Baby Lock's patented Wave Stitch, a decorative edge you will not find on other sergers. Full featured differential feed handles the two problems knits create: it gathers so seams do not stretch out, and it stretches so hems do not ripple.
