Sarah made this t-shirt quilt for her son who has had a long track and field career. Sarah did an amazing job with all the embroidery she added to the top. She is going to visit her son in California this week and will be working on the binding. This quilt is large and I teased her that she should bring it out on the plane and tell those around her that she is cold in order to share it with the rest of the plane. :) You can tell how much work Sarah put in this quilt top due to the variety of sizes she used in all the block. I put loopies on the quilt that remind me of the many, many tracks I'm sure her son has run around. I also quilted in his name and his school name. I think that is a nice touch.

Her son is going to love this sentimental quilt made out of his memories!
