Last week we had a great class in the APQS store. The hands on class focused on using rulers and templates on a longarm quilting machine. Students got their own machine, and we explored straight-line quilting.
Ruler safety was one of the big topics we covered. How to approach stitch in the ditch quilting was another topic.

We finished up the day looking at a variety of ways to accomplish crosshatching and how to use specialized rulers for swags or clamshells.
This Saturday is another popular class on free-motion fillers. It is a hands-on class. If you'd like to take a longarm quilting class, don't miss our list of upcoming classes posted to the website. Growing your longarm skills is important to us!
