I am absolutely in love with the adorable Anna's Garden panel designed by Patrick Lose! Isn't it just the sweetest? The playful illustrations and faux quilt top design just make my quilty heart sing. It's also the perfect panel for my free motion quilting on a sit down machine class. That faux quilt top look makes it the best sandbox for trying out freemotion designs in blocks, sashing, and around applique. Can you tell I had a lot of fun making the class sample? :) In this class, which I'll be teaching here at Quilted Joy on Oct. 27, students will be quilting their very own Anna's Garden panel on their own sit down machine. We'll learn how to quilt these beginner friendly free motion designs one section of the panel at a time. I've put together a nice workbook showing how to quilt all the designs I used in my sample that you can refer to in the future.
