I wanted to share the other ribbon winners at the Ky State Fair that are clients of mine.

Karen is one of my favorite quilting teachers here in Louisville and is just the sweetest person around.

The frog quilt I quilted for her has 3D elements that are wonderful and add so much to the whimsy of her quilt. Karen got third place for this quilt! You can see more photos of it here.

The other quilt I did for Karen that won a ribbon was this ribbon meander. There are so many scraps in this quilt. I’ve never seen her fabric stash but I can imagine that it is formidable. 🙂 She got a fourth place ribbon for this quilt. You can see more of her quilt here.

I did this custom quilt for Jennifer and it won an honorable mention. the background is a freehand feather and the machine appliques of beautiful flowers. You can see more of her quilt here.
