Can you believe Christmas is almost here? This is always such a busy time of year and I feel like it always catches me by surprise. That's not the case for some of my amazing longarm machine renters! Here's a look at some adorable Christmas quilts quilted by the renters. And let's give them an extra high five for getting these quilted before Christmas!

Colleen's Christmas Table Topper

How cute is Colleen's Christmas quilt? Earlier this year Colleen discovered the Fort Worth Fabric Studio and I think she's fallen in love. She also used the APQS Millie to quilt this Halloween quilt from Fort Worth Fabric Studio. Colleen's patchwork Christmas quilt is Fort Worth Fabric Studio's 2017 Christmas Mystery Quilt (you can still get the pattern here!). It's such a fun design and a perfect addition to anyone's holiday decor. Colleen intended to use this as a table topper, but it's also a perfect size for a wall hanging. She wanted to keep the quilting simple and decided to use the Seamless paper pantograph. It reminds me of a wintery wind blowing through the trees!

Debbie's Quilted Christmas Placemats

Debbie's table will also be ready for Christmas with these quilted Christmas placemats! She saved herself a little time by quilting all four placemats on one large backing fabric. It's really easy to quilt multiple quilts at once with a longarm quilting machine! But there are a few things you need to remember if you want to do this. It's always easiest to use one large backing fabric. That way you aren't worrying about seams or how the quilt top sits on the backing. If you really want to have different backing fabrics, they always, always, always, need to be seamed together. You're batting covers your backing, so you can't see what's happening on the back while you quilt. It would be too easy for the machine to grab and fold that backing fabric in on itself. If that happens, you're going to have a very good friend in your seam ripper!

Erin's Modern Christmas Tree Block Quilt

I am absolutely in love with Erin's Christmas quilt! I'm pretty sure she used all the colors, and that's why I love it! I wish I had snagged a picture of her backing too, she used a Christmas sweater print that is so much fun. You can spy the print in some of her Christmas trees. This quilt is the Modern Christmas Tree Block Quilt by Amy Smart of Diary of a Quilter. It's fun, playful, and just a little wonky. That sounds like the description of a memorable Christmas doesn't it? Erin quilted this with her favorite free motion design, easy going linear loopies. Deborah's Christmas Quilt

If you're on the look out for fun and quick ways to use up your Christmas fabrics, look to Deborah's quilt for inspiration. She pieced together these extra large rail fence blocks around a sweet machine embroidered bear. This would be such a sweet first Christmas gift for a little one. Or even just as a lap quilt for yourself to snuggle with while opening presents! Deborah kept her quilting simple with a wide open meander for a quick finish on the longarm machine.

Mary's Quilted Christmas Tablecloth

Mary wanted to freshen up her Christmas decor and thought a quilted tablecloth would be perfect! She found two Christmas fabrics she loved, a holly and berries fabric and this 108" wide Midnight Clear fabric in a gorgeous red.

She quilted this with the Bell Blossom pantograph. I love this pantograph on Christmas quilts because the flower design reminds me of poinsettias. Mary wanted to add a little extra sparkle to her quilt, so she used Glide Thread in Sand. This is a lovely gold thread that has the sparkle of a metallic thread, but the ease of a polyester thread.
