This beginning quilting class will take you from your first cut to your last stitch while you enjoy the process each step of the way. You will learn everything about making a quilt including choosing the best quilting tools, and fabrics, rotary cutting with accuracy, block assembly, and attaching borders. You will finish this 5 week course with a complete quilt top- made by you! Basic sewing knowledge is required and there is sewing homework between classes. Supply list and instruction manual will be handed out during the first class. Fabric for quilt must be purchased at Quilted Joy at the end of the first class.
Supplies:
Please note that in your first class, you should not bring anything. We will not be sewing, so you do not need your machine, and we will be learning how to select supplies you may want or need for the remainder of the class.
