Do you have a small sashing space that needs a cute and simple quilting design? Then you're going to love my latest quilting design video tutorial for APQS!

The Curled Sprout design is a sweet little sashing or border design. Watch the video below to see how to quilt it!

How to Quilt the Curled Sprout Design

To quilt the curled sprout design we'll start at the top of our border or sashing space. We'll drop down with an upside down e. Continue down the space and curl up into a backwards c. As you backtrack over your c, add two little sprouts on top. When you're back at the base of your letter c, make an s-curve back towards the top of your space. Start again with your little e's and c's. It's that simple!

Perfect for Easter and Spring!

Such a sweet little design! You could certainly expand this to fill up larger spaces, but I think I prefer it in the smaller sashing space. I called this design "curled sprout" because of the little sprouts on top of the c's. But a few people have commented that those sprouts look like bunny ears. And they're so right! And the e's look a little like bunny hops too! Whether you see sprouts like me, or bunny ears, this design is perfect for a spring or Easter themed quilt!
