For my latest video tutorial I thought I’d share how to quilt one of my go-to border designs – Beadboard! If you haven’t already tried beadboard or piano keys I highly recommend you give it a try. It’s super easy to quilt and it looks so nice. You’ll also get to see how I use a ruler. Never forget the first rules of ruler work: always use your ruler base and a ruler foot. For APQS machines, the ruler foot is that high profile, closed toe foot that came with your machine. Of course, you don’t have to use a ruler to make fun and beautiful beadboard designs. You can also quilt more free form versions like the Stones on the River design I quilted in my last video!
