Melissa's Parisian Party is Finished!
Ahhh... Paris, the Seine... the parfum... the lukewarm ice less water and little dogs in restaurants. Okay, I guess the last two things really spoil the fantasy, eh? Melissa's lucky daughter will certainly enjoy dreaming about France while snuggled under this original quilt top.
I have been to France as a tourist and as a foreign exchange student. I've got to say my favorite place isn't Paris. Instead I loved Carcasonne and Chartres. I've written before about my trip to France after college with my BFF. Exploring a foreign country is something I hope to do with my own kidlets someday, too.
Melissa's quilt was done with the Funky Fleur De Lis all over pantograph which, of course, fit the theme. I used a white thread and a 100% cotton batting for her quilt.I'm not sure what she is going to bind this in but I do know her daughter is going to LOVE it! Be sure to pop over to Melissa's blog, The Polka Dot Chair. She has such fantastic, creative ideas!
