UofL Quilt for a fan
The University of Louisville is having a pretty impressive year for its fans. The men’s basketball team won the national title. The women’s basketball team was in the title game. And this past weekend the men’s baseball team moved forward to the Super Regionals.
To say that my town is a bit proud of this year’s streak is an understatement.
This quilt was made by my client for her daughter who is a huge UofL fan. It is a simple piecing design featuring the UofL fabrics.
Because of the dotted backing fabric we decided that the Curley Bubbles pantograph would be a perfect fit on this quilt. I used a white thread by Fil-Tec called Glide and black Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 batting.
Don’t you love that UofL dotted fabric she used for the backing? So fun!
