Peacock Paisley Party taught by Angela Huffman

Peacock Paisley Party, $149

Saturday May 14, 10:00am-4:00pm SOLD OUT!* OR Saturday May 21, 10:00am-4:00pm Using the basic paisley shape as a foundation for freehand custom design ideas, we will elevate this common shape into a mini wholecloth accented with unique zentangle inspired designs. We will start the day with drafting/designing/auditioning. You’ll explore how to entertain inspiration and how to drill down to find the right design for the right areas. The paisley is a mainstay of quilting design but in this case we are using it as a container to enhance it with a variety of freehand fillers, filigrees, and other designs that can be used in a variety of ways in your next project. Learn how to dress up the areas in your paisley and stretch your custom quilting muscle with the added benefit of walking away at the end of class with a beautiful personalized sampler that will make you proud as a peacock to show off! This class has everything. Design, improv, hands on stitching, and unique filler designs, all while exploring the classic paisley shape in a zentangle sort of approach. *The Saturday May 14th class has sold out!
