We’ve had a number of new renters come through the studio, and I’ve neglected putting up photos of their finishes, but I’m working my way back through the photos to share with you. This one was started back in January and is a massive king sized quilt. It was quilted by a tiny little quilter who was 8 1/2 months pregnant. We had to lower the table to allow her to reach the handles of the machine as her baby belly was keeping her from getting close enough to the table! She had her baby and came back in to finish up this lovely quilt. She did everything freehand and used some beautiful blue variegated thread throughout the top. She did a great job! Take a look at this first time longarm quilter. She whipped out her first quilt using a paper pantograph and had a ball. She must be hooked because she came back a few days later to work on a custom quilt for her daughter. Finally, here's what I get to come home to everyday. . . the world's cutest kitten.
