We’re starting a new tradition here at Quilted Joy. Every month or two we’ll be changing out the quilts hanging in the studio to display work by some of our local quilters. Our first featured quilter is our very own Liz Kodner!

Liz is one of our longarm teachers , but before getting her own APQS machine she was one of my first renters. We did a little digging through the Quilted Joy Facebook page and found this picture (below) of Liz after her rental certification class back in 2013. She’s come a long way since then and has quite the collection of beautiful quilts!

Her first quilt on a longarm didn’t make it back to the showroom, but you can see more than 10 other quilts from Liz’s collection. These quilts are a testament to her talents as a piecer and quilter. You’ll see hand piecing, edge-to-edge quilting, custom quilting, and more!

These quilts will only be in the showroom for a few weeks, so stop by soon! We’re located at 10302 Bluegrass Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40299 and open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm.
