Karen Made a special quilt for her uncle
Karen is a popular local quilting teacher and she has a wonderful eye for picking the right fabrics for the right patterns.
This quilt was made for her uncle and taught it in a class.
The pattern is called Merry Go Round. I don't have a link to the pattern so if you know who designed it or know of a link, please post it in the comments below.
Karen is also a wiz at machine embroidery. In fact, she sold me my Viking Diamond machine which I love. She embroidered her uncle's name on the top so everyone will know who this quilt was made for!
I'm sure he'll like it. The batting is Hobbs Heirloom 80/20. The edge to edge pattern is Lime Tree which matches the motifs in the fabrics nicely but isn't girly. Pretty quilt, eh?
