Quilting takes me to many places and opportunities I never expected. I've met incredible people and traveled all over the world. All because of quilts! Next spring I'll embark on another exciting and unexpected quilting adventure - a quilting cruise!

Update: Registration for the Cruise has closed!

On March 1-8, 2020 I'll be one of the featured teachers for Quilter's Emporium's 20th Quilting Cruise!

Cruise with Angela

This 8 day cruise will be on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas ship. We'll sail out of Galveston, Texas and make stops in Roatan, Honduras, Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico, and Cozumel, Mexico. In between these stops will be quilting days with classes taught by myself and two other featured teachers.

Moon Hopper Quilt

The first of three classes I'll be teaching on the quilt cruise is my Moon Hopper quilt. This quilt was featured in episode 3304 of Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting. It looks complicated, but amazingly the entire quilt is made from only two pieced units. Learn the power of the V block in this stunning quilt top that forms secondary stars from a sashing designed to do some heavy lifting. I used two specialized rulers for this quilt - the Studio 180 Square Squared ruler and the Studio 180 V Block ruler.
