Happy Thanksgiving from Great Wolf Lodge!
This year for Thanksgiving the kidlets and I traveled up to Cincinnati, Ohio for a mini-vacation at Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, Ohio. We met one of my dear high school friends there with her two girls who are so much fun to hang out with. This Thanksgiving was going to be a bit bittersweet her family as her husband is in South Korea right now. We decided to make some memories and celebrate Turkey Day by riding water slides while grinning from ear to ear. :)
My triplets are about the same age as her girls so it works out perfectly and they always have fun together. They live in Columbus so we don't get to see each other as often as we'd all like. When we do get together, though, it is so much FUN!I wish I had a way to keep my camera safe from water spray because I would have loved to have captured photos of all 5 of them latched together floating down the lazy river or hopping gleefully off the big green raft ride that can fit all of them at once. It felt so surreal to watch my kidlets and her girls hanging out together laughing and joking with each other. Strange but also strangely satisfying.
