She wants this quilt done custom so I've pulled in a photo of the block into my computer. I then use a Wacom tablet to draw on the photo in Adobe Photoshop. This gives me a chance to experiment and audition ideas.

When I finally get a design I like, I send it to my client for their approval. As you can see, I used a tri-leaf design in the corners of the background and a loop in each of the plate's slices on Fay's quilt. Finally, a vine leaf is added to the sashing with the cornerstones having a looped star that echoes the center circle. The alternative design I did has echo quilting around the plate, outline stitching in the petals of the plate and curlies in the sashing. Which one would you choose if you were Fay?
