Dresden in Spring
We'll be seeing some hints of spring this weekend, so what better time to share Linda's colorful dresden quilt?
Linda made this from a Moda fabrics pattern kit. Each pieced dresden sits in a grey background. This reminds me of those days between winter and spring when the sky is still a wintery grey, but there's been just enough sunshine and warmth for the flowers to start blooming. It's like natures way of saying, "Stay positive, summer will be here soon!"
There are so many designs and motifs in the fabrics it was a little hard to pick just one pantograph for this quilt. We decided on the Double Curl pantograph. It adds some fun flair to the quilt while also staying true to the circular dresden plate.
