Deborah's Log Cabin Quilt
Making a log cabin quilt is on my bucket list. It will have to be made totally scrappy, though, just like Deborah's. I love this quilt.
Deborah used tiny strips to piece together this top. I think each one is about 1.5 inches and that adds to the drama of the quilt, don't you think?
She decided to have it quilted in an all over pattern and selected a new pantograph I got called Enchanted Feathers. The pattern nests together and the feathers add incredible dimension to the top.
Deborah is a great piecer and sometimes tops which have so many pieces like this one can be a bear to quilt. Her top was just perfect, though.
She hasn't seen it yet but I know she'll be pleased. Now I need to get busy and make my own log cabin, eh?
