Using Block Outlines to Audition Designs with Intelliquilter

I recently came out with a digital pattern design set that can be used to audition designs. These outlines are used as a reference to allow other motifs to be layered on top in order to discover how the block pattern will complement a block’s seam lines. The block set features 24 common block layouts.

Here’s a link to the pattern set.

Here’s a video I did showing how to audition motifs with my block outline patterns. This tutorial features the Intelliquilter program but if you have a different computerized system, the ideas will be the same but the steps will be different. Using Block Outlines can be an awesome way to save time in the planning process.
