Monopoly Thread Bobbins Prewound - Clear works great with all APQS machines. Perfect for stitching around applique if you aren't feeling all that confident. Also great for stitching in the ditch too! This is a great thread to use for quilts that will be washed and dried.

Made by Superior Threads, MonoPoly is a reduced-sheen polyester monofilament invisible thread. Unlike other monofilament threads made from weaker nylon materials, MonoPoly is made from polyester. Commonly referred to as an invisible thread due to its fineness and reduced-sheen, it is great for the bobbin or top. This prewound bobbin is available in 2 colors, Smoke for dark fabrics and Clear for light fabrics. It is often used for invisible appliqué and quilting when the stitching is not meant to be seen. We recommend it over nylon monofilament threads since it will not become brittle over time (nylon monofilament thread tends to go brittle). MonoPoly will not discolor (nylon monofilament thread tends to “yellow” over time), and it is dryer and iron safe on medium-to-high heat.

MonoPoly on prewound L-Style bobbins. Clear. 200 yds. per bobbin. 1 dozen. MonoPoly is .004" (.1mm) in diameter (90 denier) = Very fine thread.

That is the first time I used monopoly in the bobbin to quilt a 24 X 24 wall hanging on my Janome machine and it worked really well! I don't think I would have tried it if I had wound the bobbin myself. I used it with a Bottom Line thread for the top thread and to finish the binding by machine!
