US manufactured polyester fibers are needled through a reflective metalized polyester film. The needled material is breathable and won’t break down with washing. The polyester fibers resist conduction while the reflective metalized polyester film reflects radiant energy, hot and cold, back to its source.
Not recommended for microwave use. Insul-Bright’s metalized film makes a crinkly sound that is very attractive to babies and animals lending itself to soft books and toys for your pet but it’s kind of noisy for clothing.
