Glide is a 40wt polyester thread from Fil-Tec. The thread is made with Advanced Trilobal Technology that allows it to maintain consistent tension throughout each and every spool. The results are high quality, consistent stitch formation, fewer thread breaks, and fewer machine stops. The thread runs virtually lint-free and has a wonderful eye catching sheen.

Use it for machine quilting or machine embroidery. It will work equally well doing either or both.

Someone had suggested this color for a red and white log cabin quilt. Was skeptical but it is spot on. Love love this color. Loading a Burgundy and peach quilt and using this color on it also. Me and my Freddie love glide thread. Freddie has been with me for 2 years this month and couldn't be more happy to have found such a good source of knowledge that you provide the quilt world. Thank you.

The color in the photo is "off". I needed a pale peachy-pink for a project and I ordered Strawberry Blonde and Apricot Blush as the photos looked perfect for what I needed. Neither color has any pink tones though...they are both in the Yellow family. With that being said though, I'm still very happy with my purchase. I love Glide thread....as a new longarm quilter I am seeing the importance of using quality thread. I've been trying many different brands and by far I think Glide is the best purchase I've made both in quality and price. These have been added to my thread stash and I'm glad I have them. When I need a "yellow" I'll have 2 beautiful choices to use.
