Glide is a 40wt polyester thread from Fil-Tec. The thread is made with Advanced Trilobal Technology that allows it to maintain consistent tension throughout each and every spool. The results are high quality, consistent stitch formation, fewer thread breaks, and fewer machine stops. The thread runs virtually lint-free and has a wonderful eye catching sheen.

Use it for machine quilting or machine embroidery. It will work equally well doing either or both.

Due to the differences in computer monitors and printers, the color displayed above may vary slightly from actual product. We always recommend comparing colors using your Glide Color Card. I had to purchase more of this gorgeous color thread. It stitched out beautifully and the color is amazing for any quilts with pastels in pinks and purples. Perfect for the many baby girl quilts my clients have been bringing me as well as the quilts my pink and purple loving clients create.

I was looking for something to match a mauve-y pink fabric and the pinks were too pink. This was a perfect compromise!

Peacock is a lovely pale lavender color, exactly as it shows in my thread sample card. I found it to be versatile and very useful for my Tula Pink Nebula quilt background.

I thought this would be a tad for purple, but it still works for my applique project.
