You may have heard that Linda Hrcka of The Quilted Pineapple will be visiting Quilted Joy in March to teach a two day workshop. I was so thrilled by your response and enthusiasm for Linda’s quilting classes. The workshop sold out in only a few weeks and we’ve been collecting names on a waitlist ever since. Because of your amazing response, Linda has offered to teach another session of her machine quilting classes on March 13-14!

This session will be identical to the original session on March 15-16. She will be teaching the same five quilting classes and we’ll still be providing lunch and an optional open studio after class each day. The only difference is the date!

The Apprentice

Curving to Greatness

Rulers, template, and curves, oh my! Do you have rulers at home that you are not sure how to use? Do you want to discover how rulers can enhance the design process? If so, this is the class for you! Linda explores how rulers can open a whole new world of endless design possibilities. The use of rulers facilitates the creation of amazing secondary designs. Take curve – curves are a good thing! Curves are so forgiving, yet they are always striking on a quilt. Linda will demonstrate how to combine straight line designs with curves to create new, striking combinations. Linda will teach how to let rulers do all the designing, and after this class, students will work smarter, not harder!
