It was difficult since the hat was not a flat, square piece of normal thickness fabric. However, I was able to use it in the cornerstones. I was really glad I was able to work it into the top for her.

The little shirt blocks were inspired by a quilt designed by Sarah S. of Sandwich, Il. She is planning on producing a pattern based on her design and when she does, I'll post info here for those of you'd who'd like the pattern. It makes a really spectacular block out of shirt fabrics. This was the last of my Christmas deadline quilts. I'm shutting down for the holiday so I can enjoy my nine year old triplets and the magic of the season. Merry Christmas!
