When creating a gift for someone, we don’t always have the time to go into piecing something elaborate. Sometimes you just need a quilt that is going to be used to destruction. Panels are a great way to make something quickly without breaking the bank or your back. These ladies created some beautiful little quilts with just a panel. Debbie quilted these Lake House Rules panels for her real estate clients. How fun are Debbie's Lake House Rules panels? She's a realtor and when she found these panels she knew they would be the perfect gift for clients! She bought the whole bolt and quilts four or so at a time. She free hand quilted wavy lines all the way across and off the edge. It really gives you the feel of water for these lake house quilts. These would be great as wall hangings as well as lap quilts. Karen's Minnie Mouse panel quilt is the perfect gift for a little girl or boy! Karen made a much larger quilt earlier in the day and then finished off her rental with this quick little number. This was only her first time coming in after her certification class and she wanted to try some free motion quilting. Fast and easy and the little girl who is getting this to stay warm this winter will be thrilled! Teri quilted this fun unicorn panel to practice with the APQS Millie longarm quilting machine. Teri was learning how to use our Millies in her certification class. This will be donated once it is bound. She giggled over the unicorn, but some little one is going to be excited about cuddling up to this dramatic mythical beast. She decided to use our meander design board. It adds a lot of great texture to this top. Rena quilted this sweet Hello Kitty panel quilt for her daughter. The hearts quilting was the perfect touch! Rena also completed a much larger quilt that day and just finished this one quickly at the end. It’s for her three and half year old daughter. You can see the hearts she quilted in with the Heart Fancy pantograph. How cute is that? Whether you want to try something new or just need a fast and easy quilt, a panel is a great way to get the most bang for your buck and still have had a hand in creating something beautiful.
